Students will use this information to design a “futuristic” payment option to present to the class and will justify in writing whether or not it is realistic to eliminate the need for cash, checks and credit cards.

Extra Credit: Your Guide to Understanding Credit

The students will play a simulation game about how to obtain personal credit and the impact that bad and/or good credit can have on personal credit scores. They will define personal credit vocabulary, analyze credit lines, and follow lifestyles scenario decisions to see the impact on personal credit scores. The objective of the game is to improve your credit score so that you can purchase your chosen item on credit.
