To contribute to and use the Teacher Resource Center, you first have to create a profile to join the community. This post gives instructions on how to register for a profile on the TRC. You will need a user name and unique password to create your profile. As the TRC is a community for educators, you will also need to identify your high school's name to register.
- Click on the 'Join' link at the top right of the page.
- Create your username. This can be your full name, teaching name (ie: Mr. Smith, Ms. Jones) or a nickname. You can use periods, hyphens and underscores, but no other punctuation or spaces.
- Enter your email address. All correspondence from the Student Program and TRC notifications will be sent to this email address.
- Create a password for your account.
- Enter your high school’s name. As you begin to type, similar names will appear. Choose the appropriate high school.
